Urban Mobility Project Brief
The city of Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia, launched one of the world’s largest urban mobility projects, building six new metro lines to transform its transportation network. As part of the FAST consortium, Alstom was awarded a contract by the Riyadh Development Authority (ADA) to deliver a complete metro system—including rolling stock and infrastructure—for three of these lines.
Metro project composition and execution
The FAST consortium includes FCC, Freyssinet Saudi Arabia, Alstom, Samsung, Strukton, Setec, and Typsa. As a strategic and operational leader within Alstom, Danilo ensured that infrastructure data was managed in full compliance with contractual requirements throughout the construction phase, contributing to the project’s successful execution.
