Development of a photocopier finishing device that automates post-printing tasks like stapling, folding, collating, and sorting to produce professional, ready-to-use documents efficiently. Leadership of the system’s technical implementation, integration of mechanical, electronic, and software components while overseeing firmware, UX, networking, and supplier coordination. Leadership across engineering teams to deliver a reliable, production-ready solution that meets strict performance and reliability standards for global office environments.

Product functions

A photocopier finishing device is an accessory or add-on to a photocopier or multifunction printer that automatically performs post-printing tasks to prepare documents for final use, making them professional and ready for distribution. These devices can include staplers to bind pages, hole punchers for binders, sorters or stackers to organize copies, folders to fold pages in specific ways, collators to arrange multi-page documents in order, and even binders for creating booklets. For example, when printing multiple copies of a multi-page document, a finishing device can automatically collate, staple, and sort them into complete sets, saving time and reducing manual effort. Essentially, finishing devices enhance productivity and streamline the production of polished, ready-to-use documents.

System implementation and integration

Danilo led the technical implementation of the system, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electronic, and software components.
