AI & Digital Scope
Alstom, a global multinational undergoing digital transformation, leverages AI to enhance its operations. The Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization Center of Excellence (CoE) is a dedicated unit driving AI and Digital adoption, innovation, and governance. Its core functions include: Strategy & Governance, Research & Development of cutting-edge models, algorithms and technologies, DigitaI Infrastructure, AI and Digital Use Case Identification & Deployment, Digital and AI-driven Automation & Optimisation.
AI and Digital Innovation
As a key member of the CoE at Alstom, Danilo played a leadership role in the strategic and operational development of AI, Data Science and Digital Technologies. He collaborated with Alstom’s technology centers across Continental Europe, as well as with tech startups in both Continental Europe and the United Kingdom. He also partnered with the University of Girona (UdG) in Catalonia, Spain, and Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. His contributions to AI innovation have been widely recognised: Danilo won an international innovation award, selected from 350+ candidates across 17 countries, and has been granted five patents, the latest in December 2023.
