Passenger traffic on the Casablanca tramway increased significantly. To meet this demand for mobility, public authorities tasked Casa Transports, the company responsible for city’s public transport, with expanding the tramway network and acquiring additional vehicles. As part of this initiative, Casa Transports awarded a contract to Alstom for the delivery of 66 new trams. These next-generation vehicles feature advanced passenger information systems and a design inspired by Casablanca’s rich history and cultural heritage.
